Organ Recital

St Augustine’s Church is proud to announce that James O’Donnell will give a recital on the 1994 Harrison and Harrison organ on 21st June 

James O'Donnell is an internationally recognised conductor and performer and has given concerts all over the world. Since 2000 he has been organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey where, as well as directing the full schedule of daily choral services he is responsible for the music at Royal occasions including the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prior to taking up his appointment at the Abbey he was Master of the Music at Westminster Roman Catholic Cathedral whose choir, during his 12 year tenure, became one of the most highly regarded in the world. He is also a sought after teacher and is Visiting Professor of Organ and Choral Conducting at the Royal

The church is on Crescent Road, Tunbridge Wells, very near the Hotel du Vin. 

The recital will start at 8.00pm and refreshments will be available afterwards. 

Tickets can be obtained from Brittens Music Shop in Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells in advance of the recital for £12.40 or can be obtained at the door on the evening of the recital for £15. 

Any profits will be donated to charity and will be divided between Hospice in the Weald and Mary's Meals, a charity dedicated to providing some of the world's most deprived children with a nutritious daily meal at their place of education.
